The present invention relates to a chitosan nanoparticle adsorbent capable of adsorbing and removing organic dyes through hydrogen bonding or electrostatic interaction of not only chitosan surface functional groups, but also lactic acid bacteria supported therein, and a method of manufacturing the same. The chitosan adsorbent on which the lactic acid bacteria of the present invention is supported is inside the chitosan nanoparticles. Since the lactic acid bacteria are immobilized, the mechanical strength of the lactic acid bacteria adsorbent can be increased, and the size of the adsorbent can be adjusted by controlling the contents of chitosan and lactic acid bacteria. The chitosan adsorbent carrying lactic acid bacteria of the present invention can move substances such as liquids into the chitosan nanoparticles, so that dyes or metal ions can be adsorbed to the lactic acid bacteria carried on the chitosan or adsorbed to the chitosan surface functional group, thereby increasing adsorption efficiency.
