The present invention relates to an apparatus for drying a Korean oak tree which markedly increases utilization of Korean oak trees as a product with high added values, effectively prevents shaking and twisting of an oak tree while drying to increase product yield, and straightens twisted wood to be flat before drying. The drying apparatus comprises: a drying chamber having an openable door on the front surface thereof and a rail installed on the lower surface therein; a cart which is arranged on the upper surface of the rail, allows sawn oak boards to be loaded on the upper surface thereof, and can move into and out of the drying chamber along the rail; a drying unit which is installed on the wood above the cart, is arranged between wood boards in a plate shape, and dries the wood by heating of a board having a plate shape; a pressing cover which allows both ends thereof to be fixed on the cart while enclosing one side, the upper surface, and the other side of the entire wood loaded on the upper surface of the cart, is made of a stretchable rubber material, and presses the wood overall in a downward direction and both inward directions to prevent twisting while drying; and a vacuum pump to suck air in the drying chamber through an air suction pipe connected to the drying chamber to communicate with the drying chamber to discharge air to the outside through an air discharge pipe connected to one side thereof to form a vacuum.
