The present invention relates to SNP markers and their use in the MEGF11 gene for predicting the total productivity of sows. Since the single nucleotide polymorphism derived from the MEGF11 gene, which serves as the SNP marker in the present invention, has a high correlation with the life-producing trait of sows, the SNP marker of the present invention can be used for the early detection of the total life productivity of the sows through genetic testing. There is a predictable advantage. Therefore, the present invention can be usefully used for excellent sow selection and breeding.
