In a remote interaction method using a remote collaboration system including a robotic device including a projector, a panoramic camera, and a high definition camera, and located in a remote space, and a head mounted display disposed in a local space remote from the remote space, based on a communication request. Communication is established between the robotic device and the head mounted display. The head mounted display receives the first image information collected by the panoramic camera and the second image information collected by the high definition camera to observe the remote space. The head mounted display retrieves the necessary information to be provided to the remote space based on the observation result of the remote space. The robotic device receives the necessary information from the head mounted display and provides the necessary information to the remote space via the projector.
