The present invention relates to a wire-reinforced metallic tube and a manufacturing method thereof, in which the wire-reinforced metallic tube is made in a dual pipe structure including an inner pipe and an outer pipe made of metal, and a plurality of reinforcing wire materials are installed to be extended in a longitudinal direction having a high tensile strength between the inner pipe and the outer pipe by using a hydroforming process, to greatly increase the strength, and to provide excellent economic efficiency and productivity. According to the present invention, the manufacturing method of the wire-reinforced metallic tube comprises: (S1) a step of inserting the inner pipe into the cylindrical outer pipe, inserting the plurality of reinforcing wire materials between the inner pipe and the outer pipe, and arranging an assembly of the outer pipe, the inner pipe, and the reinforcing wire materials into a cavity of a mold by being supported by a first punch and a second punch; and (S2) a step of supplying a fluid into the inner pipe through a fluid inlet of the first punch by applying a certain pressure, simultaneously moving at least one of the first punch and the second punch in a longitudinal direction of the inner pipe, applying a pressure to the inner pipe, and thereby expanding and transforming the inner pipe.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2020
