The present invention comprises a strip of at least one material forming a plurality of convolutions of a strip of material having a longitudinal axis, wherein the convolutions of the strips each include a twist along the longitudinal axis of the strip, and the twist is an odd number of 180 degrees. It relates to an endless shaped article present as a drainage. The invention also relates to a method for manufacturing such a product and its use as a sling, loop, belt or chain link.
