The present invention discloses a battery management apparatus and an overvoltage protection method of an LFP cell using the same. The battery management apparatus according to an embodiment of the present invention is electrically connected to a plurality of LFP cells connected in series in the LFP battery, and individually measures the voltage of each LFP cell, and outputs a voltage value representing the measured voltage.
