Methods, systems and apparatus are provided for liquid hydrocarbon fuel production, hydrocarbon chemical production and aerosol capture. For example, a carbon-oxygen-hydrogen (COH) compound is at least Celsius so that the COH compound reacts through a non-oxidation reaction to at least produce or produce a hydrocarbon compound that may be a component of a liquid hydrocarbon fuel or a hydrocarbon chemical. It can be heated to a temperature of 800 degrees. The C-O-H compound may comprise biomass. In some cases, the hydrocarbon compound produced through a non-oxidation reaction comprises a hydrocarbon aerosol form at least as a hydrocarbon compound when produced or cooled. Some embodiments include methods, systems and devices for aerosol capture, which may include passing a hydrocarbon aerosol form through a liquid phase material to collect the aerosol material.
