The electrode unit of a device for plasma surface treatment of areal materials with a high-frequency capacitive discharge at atmospheric pressure includes a discharge, grounded and ignition electrodes made with the possibility of connecting to a high-frequency generator, while the discharge electrode is made in the form of an extended part and is located opposite the grounded electrode, the ignition electrode is installed near the discharge electrode, while the discharge electrode is located along the grounded electrode, made long, the ignition electrode is made in the form of a flag having a beveled face, while the electrodes are fixed on the support and made with the possibility adjusting the sizes of the breakdown and discharge gaps by changing the gap between the discharge and grounded, as well as the discharge and ignition electrodes.
