A device is proposed for illuminating the scale of the indicator of the height of the radio altimeter, made in the form of a printed circuit board in a form that is mated with the installation location in the height indicator; on the edges of the printed circuit board installed mechanical clamps; in the center of the printed circuit board, in the lower part of the printed circuit board, a detachable connector is installed under the edge of the printed circuit board, while the light sources have a side glow in the direction of the height indicator scale. The device is easily removable, which ensures high maintainability of the backlight device and the height indicator of the radio altimeter. 4 ill.
