METHOD OF GLASS BENDING SUPPORTED BY EXCESSIVE PRESSURE AND DEVICE SUITABLE FOR THIS PURPOSE

FIELD: glass industry.;SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a device and a method of bending at least one glass sheet. Device comprises lower bending mold with working surface, which is suitable for action on mold of at least one glass sheet. Upper forming tool located opposite working surface, which is suitable for creation of excess pressure on surface (O) of said at least one glass sheet, facing from working surface. At that, upper forming tool has empty space with at least one hole oriented towards lower mold for bending, and membrane closing hole, and is equipped with means for introducing gas into empty space for deformation of membrane in direction of lower mold for bending and, thus, to create excess pressure. Lower mold for bending is made in the form of a mold for bending with a frame-like working surface. Also disclosed is a method of bending at least one glass sheet and use of the membrane to create excess pressure on surface (O) of the glass sheet during the bending process.;EFFECT: technical result consists in prevention of deterioration of optical quality of glass.;13 cl, 7 dwg, 1 tbl
