DEVICE FOR CLEANING SURFACES IN HARD-TO-REACH PLACES

FIELD: nuclear power engineering; treatment of surfaces in hard-to-reach places.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to treatment of surfaces in hard-to-reach places, mainly for cleaning of back side of welded seam of steam generator in nuclear power engineering. Device for cleaning surfaces in hard-to-reach places comprises base (1) with machining tool (4) with drive (5) installed on its one end. Mechanism of radial feed of tool (4) is installed on other end of base (1). Processing tool (4) with drive (5) is fixed in bracket with bushing (7) pressed therein. One end of cable (2) is screwed inside sleeve (7) by means of tip (8) fixed on it. Bearing (9) thrusts against sleeve end (7) and limiter (10) is fitted on tip (8). Limiter (10) is welded on end of base (1). Cable (2) is located in slot along base (1) and on other end of base (1) by means of fixed on rope (2) tip (11) with seated bearing (13) is inserted into hole welded to base (1) fixed stop (12) and is screwed into drum (14) of mechanism of radial feed of tool. In fixed stop (12) there is a threaded hole, in which adjusting screw (15) is installed parallel to cable (2). Drum (14) is connected to drum (19) additionally fixed on base (1) by means of the re-slug system.
