Capsule comprises an aluminum capsule body having a sidewall and an outward protruding flange and a sealing element on the outwardly projecting flange to provide a fluid-sealing contact with the female beverage preparation female member. Beverage preparation device comprises an annular element having a free contact end, which is made with multiple open grooves passing in radial direction.
