Method for displaying image information acquired by means of an image sensor arranged in a protective helmet of a passenger on a vehicle on a display unit arranged in a protective helmet of a driver of the vehicle, wherein the image information is automatically displayed on the display unit arranged in the protective helmet of the driver depending on a current direction of movement of the vehicle being represented.
