Methods of manufacturing porous monolithic materials

A method for preparing porous monolithic materials from at least one powder, preferably mineral powder, comprising at least one step of compressing a powder mixture and at least one solvent at low temperature, preferably water. The material obtained by this method has improved mechanical properties compared with the existing process materials. For medical materials such as hydroxyapatite,The invention also provides improved biocompatibility compared with the prior art materials. The invention also relates to materials obtained by the method.
