Disclosed is an electronic device equipped with a means for recycling radiant energy emitted from electronic components and a method for recycling radiant energy emitted from electronic components. The disclosed electronic device includes an electronic component mounted on a substrate, a shielding can covering the electronic component, and radiation energy collecting means provided inside the shielding can. A rectifier electrically connected to the collecting means may be further provided. An energy storage means electrically connected to the rectifier through the substrate may be further provided on the substrate outside the shielding can. A voltage regulator may be further provided between the rectifier and the energy storage means. A smoothing circuit may be further provided between the rectifier and the voltage regulator to reduce or eliminate ripple of radiant energy passing through the rectifier.
