PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishing rod prevented from or reduced in deviation and tilt of a fitting part on a surface of a rod body.SOLUTION: A fishing rod includes: a slender cylindrical rod body; a fitting part 10B having a fitting portion, and attached to the outer peripheral surface of the rod body via the fitting portion; a first layer 100 formed by winding a first sheet made of a fiber-reinforced resin or a resin having a thermal shrinkage measured in accordance with JIS K 7133 of 2.5% or less so as to surround both the fitting portion and the rod body; and a second layer 200 formed by winding a fiber-reinforced resin second sheet around the outside of the first sheet. A temperature at which a loss tangent (tanδ) calculated from dynamic viscoelasticity measurement at 1 Hz frequency of the first sheet becomes a maximal value is different from a temperature at which a loss tangent (tanδ) calculated from dynamic viscoelasticity measurement at 1 Hz frequency of the second sheet becomes a maximal value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
