The present disclosure provides a method for preparing an electrode having a passageway by mixing an electrode active material, a conductive material, a binder to produce a conventional electrode slurry, mixing with amorphous selenium nanoparticles, coating an electrode slurry, vaporizing selenium nanoparticles when drying in order to increase linearity of lithium ion in a high loading electrode.The method for preparing an electrode for a secondary battery including: dispersing or dissolving a binder in a solvent to prepare a binder solution; preparing an electrode slurry by mixing the binder solution with an electrode material including an electrode active material, a conductive material, and amorphous selenium nano particles; coating the electrode slurry on a current collector; and drying the coating to vaporize amorphous selenium nanoparticles and foaming a coating layer.
