Majority of Indonesian society can not be denied is a fan of the soap opera. Many soap opera teenager audiences believes that the characters in the soap opera is exist in the real life. To minimize the occurrence of such an assumption would require a media literacy. This study aims to determine how media Literacy In Watching Impressions of Ganteng-Ganteng SerigalaSoap Opera on SCTV By Heavy Viewer Teens, Students of SMA Colomadu, Karanganyar. Media literacy that studied in this research is the ability to access, analyze, evaluate, and communicate messages in a variety of forms. Type of this research is descriptive qualitative. The sampling of this research was purposive sampling. Informants of this research were students of SMA Colomadu Karanganyar specially heavy type of viewer of Ganteng-Ganteng Serigala, where the informants watch the Ganteng-Ganteng Serigala soap opera every day. There are 6 informants included in those type of viewer this study. The results showed that the informant is a heavy viewer type audience that had high media literacy skills in terms of media access category, because they watch the television specially the Ganteng-Ganteng Serigala soap opera every day. The informant was able to explain, identify and analyze the purpose of the message. As for knowledge of scenes that were inappropriate, informants knows that was only a role that performed by the actors. The ability to evaluate, each informant has a difference in that regard, because they are highly subjective answers. Although the informants were able to judge that the Ganteng-Ganteng Serigala soap opera is not in suitable with their age, but the informant still watching it. As for communicating the messages they receive they did it through interpersonal communication, because there is a environmental equation in terms of experience and understanding the Ganteng-Ganteng Serigala soap opera.
