This report is part of a voluntary effort by the authors to provide informationon the performance of steel buildings during the Northridge earthquake of 1994, to the engineering profession and the general public. It is intended as a companion report for the two seminars presented by the authors on April 22 and April 29, 1994, and the corresponding video tape.
