To address the issue of acidic deposition in Maryland, the state has developed acomprehensive program to evaluate the formation of acidic deposition and its environmental effects on Maryland resources. The eighth annual report summarizes the results of research and monitoring projects conducted during 1993 and includes new analyses of the status and trends of acidic deposition in Maryland.
