Regulatory Impact Analysis for the Petroleum Refineries NESHAP. Final Report

A regulatory impact analysis (RIA) of the industries affected by the PetroleumRefineries National Emissions Standard for Hazardous Air Pollutants (NESHAP) was completed in support of this regulation. This (RIA) was required because the proposal is economically significant according to Executive Order 12866. The industry for which these impacts was computed was the petroleum refinery industry. Several different impact analyses were included in total or summarized in different chapters in the document. Those analyses were: the compliance cost analysis, the economic impact analysis, and the benefits analysis. Benefits and costs were then compared and discussed in the document's last chapter.
