Modeling Winter Storms Over Arizona. Final Report. Volume 2. Appendix A: UsersGuide for the Arizona Airflow and Microphysics Model

摘要

The Bureau of Reclamation has adapted an orgraphic precipitation model to produceuseful estimates of daily precipitation at gid points spaved at 5 or 10 km over the Modollon Rim in Arizona. The model will also develop volume precipitation for the Salt and Verde watersheds. The model should be useful in planning future cloud seeding experiments, developing seeding suspension criteria, constructing daily weather forcasts necessary for streamflow. Additionally, model generated grid point precipitation can be employed as input to a physical hydrologic model that estimaties daily runoff.
