摘要

This report is a description of the progress and outcome of the practical projecton the conservation and development of the cultural landscape in the hilltop and lakeside villages of Kontiolahti. The project was carried out in the autumn term of 1994 at the Helsinki University of Technology, Faculty of Architecture, as the study module of Urban Planning and Design. Eight students from six different countries participated in the project. The study module was carried out in co-operation with the Development Centre of the villages of Kontiolahti.
