Large Aggregate Asphalt Concrete Intermediate Course Mixes for Use in Ohio

摘要

The objectives of this research project were to: Evaluate the potential for useof large aggregate asphalt concrete intermediate course mixes in Ohio; Develop simple procedures for testing these mixes. It was expected that the procedures would involve the use of a 15 cm (6 inch) mold and modification of the existing Marshall mix design procedure; Establish testing criteria for the design of these mixes; and Develop a proposed construction and material specification for the use of these mixes.
