The report prepared the framework to deploy candidate Intelligent Transportation211u001eSystem (ITS) projects that address Salt Lake Valley's transportation needs. A 211u001eplanning process was used that included redefining the User Services into market 211u001epackages, mapping market packages to functional areas and requirements; and 211u001eassigning an architecture structure that fulfills the goals and objectives for 211u001ePhase I (User Service Plan) of this study. Project sets were developed based on 211u001ethis process and needs that were determined by the ITS Task Force. The Task Force 211u001eincludes representatives from agencies and jurisdictions from the Salt Lake 211u001eValley area. Time-frames for project deployment were assigned based on the nature 211u001eof the transportation conditions over the next fifteen years.
