User Acceptance Test Report. Independent Evaluation of Georgia's ATIS Kiosk211 System (TraveLink)

This research was conducted as part of the evaluation of the Advanced Traveler211u001eInformation System (ATIS) Kiosk System. The user acceptance aspects of the 211u001eTraveLink Kiosk System were evaluated using questionnaires, focus groups, 211u001eobservational studies, and expert evaluation. Examination of the demographic 211u001evariables of the questionnaire respondents provides an overall description of 211u001eusers during the evaluation period. Qualitative ratings and comments concerning 211u001evarious kiosk features, changes made to travel plans, willingness to pay for 211u001ekiosk services are described and compared. Observations made of users permit some 211u001einsight into the amount of time and frequency the kiosks are used. 211u001eRecommendations are given for a variety of issues such as user interface design 211u001eand information content. The results and recommendations for future enhancements 211u001eare reported.
