摘要

From biomass, like green wood fuel, more bio-energy (heat and/or power) can be exploited when the pretreatment drying and grinding are optimized. In this study the expression 'wood' means 'green wood.' Wood is available as forestry residues, prunings and from wood farmings. The conversion from wood into bio-energy often requires a maximum moisture content and a maximum wood particle size. For the conversion to electricity (and heat) three options are described in this product: co-firing in pulverized coal utility and power generation; atmospheric fluidized bed combustion and power generation; solid moving bed gasification and heat and power generation. The aim of the project is to determine the energetic and economic optimum of: the application of industrial techniques for wood drying purposes; the conversion from wood into heat and/or power; and the sequence of the pre-treatments drying and grinding.
