Materials related aspects of the 17th International Symposium on Ballistics have211u001ebeen analyzed and briefly commented on. Emphasis has been placed on materials for 211u001elight armor, and models for optimizing ballistic performance. Also included are 211u001ecomments on materials for warheads (kinetic energy and shaped charges) and 211u001econstitutive models for describing material behavior at high strain rates.
