Survey of Bat Species of the Bruneau-Jarbidge River Area of Southwestern Idaho wityh Special Reference to the Occurrence of the Spotted Bat (Euderma maculatum)

This report details the methods employed by and the results of surveys of bat species present within the Bruneau-Jarbidge River area of Owyhee County, Idaho. Surveys were conducted over the period of 1 September to 16 September 1995 and 24 July to 16 August 1996. Because of the large region defined as the area of study and the lack of previous bat work in the area, the 1995 survey season was necessarily considered preliminary. A 1996 survey was undertaken to expand upon the initial work.
