This Record of Decision (ROD) presents the selected remedial action for IRP Site211u001e61, designated Operable Unit (OU)-50, at Langley Air Force Base in Hampton, 211u001eVirginia. This ROD identifies the final action for soils and an interim action 211u001efor ground water at the OU. Ground water will be addressed in a final action on 211u001ean installation-wide basis as a separate OU. This action addresses the principle 211u001ethreat at the OU by imposing land use restrictions that will prevent any non-211u001eindustrial activities from taking place at this location. In addition, the 211u001einterim ground water action will prevent any use, other than monitoring, of the 211u001eground water at the OU.
