The annual CityMatCH Urban Maternal and Child Health (MCH) Leadership Conference211u001eis a working meeting of invited urban MCH leaders representing member city and 211u001ecounty health departments whose jurisdictions include one or more cities of 211u001e100,000 population (or the largest city in states not otherwise represented). A 211u001erequirement of each invited health department is to submit a written 'profile' of 211u001eone of the health department's most successful MCH initiatives during the past 211u001eyear. The profile includes a description of objectives, activities, barriers 211u001efaced and overcome, health department roles, funding, accomplishments, and 211u001elessons learned. The designated MCH representative to CityMatCH may only receive 211u001efederal subsidy for conference expenses if their profile is received prior to the 211u001eConference. Invited health departments are encouraged to submit a profile even if 211u001ethey are unable to send a representative to the Conference. Copies of profiles 211u001eare included in the conference participant resource notebook to facilitate 211u001eimmediate peer exchange.
