U.S. Ports and the Funding of Intermodal Facilities: An Overview of Key Issues(Revised)

This feasibility study was funded by the U.S. Trade and Development Agency, andwas conducted by Teleconsult International. The study examines the proposed wireless local loop system in the four regions where PFD has been authorized to provide competitive local exchange services. The report volume contains a network analysis, a market analysis, a tariff and pricing analysis, a financial analysis, an environmental analysis, and US sources of supply. This project could produce $28 million in U.S. exports, with the bulk coming from network telecommunication equipment.
