摘要

Most of the researches on earthquake related phenomena are based to the rules of classical electromagnetism. But there are a lot of irregular and non-smooth situations during the earthquake phenomena. However, classical electromagnetism is concerned primarily on smooth and uniform cases. Therefore, the classical laws of electromagnetism cannot give the induced potential and current on the surfaces due to the irregularities related with motion of media during the significant earthquakes. Hence, the electromagnetic waves in media containing surfaces vibrating irregularly are considered first and then wave equation is derived for such materials. The continuity equation is extended to such cases. The electromagnetic decomposition principle is derived. The experimental data are obtained which coincides the derived results. The results given in this study are useful to predict the unexpected variations of random phenomena in probabilistic environments such as upcoming earthquakes. Some observations explaining the uncertainty effect related with upcoming earthquakes are reported.
