Image Reconstruction in Static L-Band Aperture Synthesis Radiometry

摘要

In last decades a need for high resolution soil moisture and ocean salinity (SM/OS) maps has arisen in the scientific community. These maps should provide full coverage from all the Earth at a resolution of several 10 km. Remote sensing of the SM/OS is possible by measuring the radiation at L-band (1.4 GHz) where the radiation intensity is strongly sensitive to the moisture content.
