China in the WTO: Year 3

摘要

In many respects, China made significant progress in 2004 in meeting the obligations and commitments it assumed upon accession to the World Trade Organization (WTO). In a number of areas, however, Chinas compliance has fallen short of its commitments. This report addresses the following topics: I. Review of Chinas WTO Compliance in 2004; II. China WTO Issues and U.S. Enforcement; and III. Transitional Review Mechanism.
