摘要

The Italian guidelines on quality assurance in Total Body Irradiation (TBI) address issues in clinical practice, medical physics and dosimetry. Drawn up by expert Italian radiation oncologists and medical physicists with extensive experience of TBI with the consensus of all Italian radiation oncologists and medical physicists working in the field of TBI, the guidelines were written under the supervision of the Italian National Institute of Health. This consensus document illustrates the principles of quality assurance in TBI and is destined to become a standard reference for all those working in the field.
