Stocks of Grains, Oilseeds, and Hay: Final Estimates 2003-2008

This bulletin presents final estimates including revisions made by the Agricultural Statistics Board (ASB) for the years 2003 through 2008. On-farm and off-farm inventory data were published during calendar years 2003-2008 in periodic ASB reports. Data included in this publication provide a historic record and a benchmark for current estimates. Stocks revisions were made after evaluating production revisions made by the ASB (See Statistical Bulletin 1010). The ASB evaluated production, beginning stocks, recorded disappearance, and ending stocks to ensure that all estimates were reasonable when compared with current and historic totals. The 2003-2008 estimates shown herein are considered final and will not be revised again.
