On December 17, 2008, the Japanese Government announced designation of 2- Ethylpyrazine, 2-Methylpyrazine and Calcium Sorbate as food additives, and partial revision of the specification for Neotame. The comment period will close on January 9, 2009. After the given date, all comments should be directed to the enquiry point in accordance with the WTO/SPS Agreement.
