Because of all this and more, investing in women means investing in the nation as a whole. This report provides a comprehensive overview on womens position in the economy today. Decades of progress mean women are poised to lead the nations next chapter of economic growth. Yet roadblocks remain, and these blockades are hampering womens ability to reach their full economic potential. The cost of this log-jam is paid not only by women and their families, but by the economy as a whole.
