National Interagency Coordination Center, Wildland Fire Summary and Statistics Annual Report 2010

This is the National Interagency Coordination Center's (NICC's) 2010 Annual Wildland Fire Summary and Statistics report. The NICC is the focal point for coordinating the mobilization of resources for wildland fire and other incidents throughout the United States. Located in Boise, Idaho, the NICC also provides Intelligence and Predictive Services related-products designed to be used by the internal wildland fire community for wildland fire and incident management decision-making. This report is based upon information received from the Geographic Area Coordination Centers as well as National Interagency Coordination Center databases. It provides a national perspective of the mobilization of resources across geographic area borders and fire and acreage information reported.
