There is also a small percentage of the former German sewing machine needle capacity located in Belgium, but its present condition is doubtful and it is safe to assume that it cannot be put into production in the near future because of the absence of trained labor.nThe present need for clothing, particularly in the liberated countries of Europe, is well known and will, no doubt, increase during the coming winter. Sewing machines are essential for the making of clothing and they in turn require a supply of needles for their operation.
