After submission of Item 1, certain changes were authorized, which required the following improvements.n 1. The attachment of the lead wire to the protective jacket.n 2. A more durable element material.n 3. Smoother ends on spring contacts.n The last two of these corrections took place in the natural course of fabrication between the prototype model and the final mod¬els, and the first correction has been accomplished by the modifica¬tion of the method and location of cementing the wire to the jacket.
