摘要

A useful apparatus for determination of solvent activities of aqueous and nonaqueous solutions is described. The method consists essentially of determining the temperature difference of a solution and its solvent when brought into quasi vapor equilibrium in an evacuated enclosure. The theory and the basic limitations of the procedure have been explored.
