Results of investigation and study in¬dicate that the requirements for a “multi¬ple photoflash cartridge package,” as outlined by White Sands Proving Ground (see paragraph 2. Appendix A, p 7) can be met and that the development and manufacture of such an item are feasible.nIt has been determined that approx¬imately fifty miniature photoflash cart¬ridges and the required accessories can be stored in the place allotted for the package.nAssuming fifty cartridges would be used in the end item satisfactory night optical tracking with a good ballistic camera could be achieved up to 200,000 feet.
