Development of Quantitative Tests for Establishment of Stability of Propellant

As basic information, the stability tests standard at this Arsenal were evaluated for quantitative efficiency. This work substantiates a belief that the current thermal stability tests are qualitative rather than quantitative.nThe present tests are based in the detection or measurement of the gaseous products of propellant decomposition.
