Several experimental techniques for coating glass flakes with resin were tried. Of these, the addition of reactive diluents to reduce the viscosity of the resin proved the moat satisfactory. The use of a roll mill offered most promise as a method of blending the resin and flakes, though more work is needed to develop, technique.nAs a preliminary inquiry into end-item applications for glass-flake laminates, several methods of making curved shapes were tried. The indications are that fabri¬cation of other than flat panels is possi¬ble.
