BENDING RADII OF TANALITH-TREATED SOUTHERN YELLOW PINE AS AFFECTED BY KNOT SIZE

摘要

The purpose of this work was to determine the effect of sound tight knots of various sizes on the radii curvature to which various thicknesses of Tanalith-treated flat-sawn, dense southern yellow pine boards can be bent in a dry, unheated state before proportional limit is reached and before rupture occurs.
