PRECISE TIME SYNCHRONIZATION OF WIDELY SEPARATED CLOCKS

This paper describes k own precise methods of setting a grower of widely separated clocks to precisely the same time and keeping them in close agreement indefinitely most of the proposed methods are now available. An estimate of the accuracies of each method are given. Also, there is some discussion of high frequency radio propa?gation theory pertinent to two of the methods and a few sets of measurements of the propagation delay time of high frequency signals from W WV to WWVKR are given. Several graphs and tables are included to simplify some of the calculations
