Correlation of Intracellular Potentials with Electro-Corticogram

The primary object of these experiments was the correlation of the activity of single cortical neurons (Betz cells) recorded with micropipettes, with the pattern of electrical activity recorded with larger electrodes. In particular a correlation was sought between the membrane potential of Betz cells with the various clinical and electrical phases of a generalized seizure.
